You can build your own Grid using the Grid Builder and check out directly from there, or browse and order pre-built Grids from the shop. Either way, checkout is handled through the SLATE website.

SLATE comes in two Grid sizes. The 2×2×2 (8 Blocks) is the smaller format — good for a single ritual or two lighter baths. The 3×3×3 (27 Blocks) is the full Grid — we recommend dropping the whole thing in and making it count.

Drop the whole Grid into a full, warm bath and let it dissolve. That's it. The Blocks are designed to work together — the ritual releases as they dissolve. We recommend you drop it all in at once and enjoy the moment.

Yes — especially with the 2×2×2. You can split it across one or two baths depending on how intense you want the experience. For the 3×3×3, we recommend dropping the whole thing in for a full ritual. One drop, one moment — that's the intention.

Once you've opened the wrap, use the Blocks within one week. Exposure to moisture in the air can cause them to start reacting early. Keep them dry and wrapped until you're ready.

Yes, with some care. All ingredients are cosmetic grade and chosen with skin safety in mind. If your skin is particularly sensitive, we'd suggest starting with a lighter Grid — fewer Texture Blocks, and avoid anything too intense. If you have a specific allergy or concern, email us and we'll advise on which Blocks suit you.

We currently ship within the UK. International shipping is planned for 2027. If you're outside the UK and want to be notified when we open international orders, sign up to the waitlist.

The product itself is completely plastic free. Our packaging is matt cardboard with a POF shrink wrap on individual Blocks — POF is non-toxic and PVC-free, recyclable via soft plastic streams. We're transparent about this on our ingredients page.

Yes. The GLITTER Block uses plant-based, certified biodegradable glitter — not microplastic. It's safe for skin and safe to wash away. The SHIMMER Block uses cosmetic-grade mica, a natural mineral.

Most of our ingredients are natural — oat milk powder, dead sea salt, kaolin clay, essential oils, carrier oils. Where we use cosmetic-grade ingredients like polysorbate 80 or fragrance oils, it's because they're the right choice for the formula — not because it's easier. Everything is listed and explained on our ingredients page.

Yes. All SLATE products are vegan and never tested on animals. Every ingredient is cosmetic grade and selected with that standard in mind.

Yes — that's the whole point. Every Grid you build is yours. Mix scent and texture Blocks however you want, or start from one of our 9 pre-built Grid Moments and adjust from there.
